Lotus Chips are part of founder Miki Takaha Lenox's “roots” in Japan, where they are known as “Renkon” Chips. Renkon is the root of the lotus flower, known as a symbol of hope, resilience, serenity, and purity. Good Roots company is rooted in two locations: San Francisco, where the company produces and distributes its products; and Japan, the source of many key ingredients and the inspiration for these snack chips. Miki grew up in Japan and had lotus chips for special occasions, so they decided to bring the tradition to my their family and friends in San Francisco, who encouraged them to make lotus chips more widely available to you.
