A Girl Named Pinky is dedicated to delivering custom cakes and desserts for special occasions in the SF Bay Area. A Girl Named Pinky is one of 30 small food businesses (all primarily women-owned) that are part of the food incubation program at La Cocina in San Francisco. When head baker and founder Tina was planning her own wedding, she decided to make her own wedding cake. She was determined to create a showstopping delicious wedding cake. She read many books, consulted professional bakers, and took classes, spending many hours in the kitchen learning how to bake from scratch. The wedding cake didn't disappoint. She started getting requests to make cakes for family and friends and then their family and friends and it's turned into a business where her passion is to create custom cakes and desserts that delight.
