Fatted Calf's bacon is made from only heritage-breed pastured pork raised on small family farms. We dry cure our bacon traditionally using just sea salt, brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne, and curing salt and then slowly smoke it over a mix of apple, cherry, alder, and mesquite wood. The result is flavorful bacon with a sweet, salty, smoky balance that is irresistible!
This product will be delivered frozen. In order to maintain quality we never thaw and refreeze frozen items. All frozen products are produced days before delivery, not months.
